Scout and YW Projects

There is a lot of need for larger donations that can be gathered in a drive for a Young Women Medallion or Eagle Scout Project. Check out how this scout troop gave refugees a ride:

-New Car Seat drive for Utah Refugee Center

-School supply drive in July (supplies due by Aug 1st)

-Baby Carrier drive via www.carrythefuture.org

-Assemble tool kits for newly arrived refugee families

-Cold Weather Clothing Drive in September and distribute to refugees through the IRC in Salt Lake City (donation due early October and distribution event is in mid October)

-Furniture drive for new apartments in SLC areas

-Use a talent of knitting or crochet to make blankets and baby hats for the Utah Refugee Center in Salt Lake or for Carry the Future to send abroad. 

-Help Catholic Community Services organize their donations storehouse. Donations are accepted Monday through Thursday from 9am until 5pm at CCS Sharehouse 440 South 400 West #D&E SLC, 84101. 801-916-7382
