Humanitarian Fireside: Refugees in Our Community

Hosted by the Orchard 6th Ward

You are invited to a night for learning about and serving refugees in our community, featuring special guest speakers including a resettled refugee from Burma. This fireside is for all families, youth, and adults. Friends and guests welcome. For questions contact Jenae Jeppesen.

Tied Quilts by the Young Women

Our beautiful Mia Maids tied three fleece quilts in under an hour to add to "Welcome Home" bags for the Catholic Community Services to distribute to refugees! These quilts will be put in canvas bags along with the the awesome rag dolls- all the ladies made during girls camp- and a coloring book, crayons, and a "Welcome to your new home!" card.  The young women are doing multiple service activities for refugee families and children and are loving every minute of it!
